What is DMI Pool Data in Computer?

In Computer DMI stands for Desktop Management Interface is a process of verifying the computer′s hardware and software compatibility. When a computer turn on then it checks for required hardwares and related software.   1. Insert the Windows Installation Disk into the DVD Reader and Restart the system.
  2. Click on the Repair Your Computer option.
  3. Choose the Option to Run the command prompt and execute the command given below.
    bootsect.exe/mbr all‘ or ‘bootsect.exe/nt60 all
  4. A repair process will starts and it will take some time to complete.
  5. Now the damaged file will be replaced and the repair process is finished.

Method 2: - Clear the CMOS by setting a jumper on your motherboard at the damaged component.

Method 3: - Remove all component from systems motherboard except CPU, Memory, Floppy Disk, Video Card and DVD/CDROM. Restart the computer if it works well then check all the removed component by adjusting on motherboard and replace the damaged one.

Method 4:- Go to systems BIOS and find Clear DMI Pool Data and set it to Enable, save the setting and reboot the computer.
